Message from President Ken Koll

RIDING: Now that we are in the second half of the riding season, we need to remember the safety tips we used the first half of the season to keep us safe. Let’s not get in a hurry to get the extra miles in. Think safety! The other person might not. The fall colors have a person looking at all the beautiful colors on both sides of the road. We see the black color all the time. Be careful.

Editor’s note from Sue: Dennis and I witnessed two motorcycles being loaded on flatbeds within a week recently. One accident was just outside Little Falls and the other was in Wadena. The riders had already been removed from the scene by ambulance. As Ken mentioned, ride safely and be careful.

Club News
• Note: Beginning September 9th our rides will begin at 6 p.m.
• Ken Koll awarded DuWayne & Deb Matthews their 25 year MN Wings membership plaque at the August meeting in Pierz. (Shown in photo above.) Don & Adeline Miller, Don Richied, & Johnnie Schubert received their 25 year MN Wings membership plaques the week before. Wendell and Kim Schultz also received their 10 year MN Wings pins.
• Thank you to all 46 Little Falls Chapter members for renewing your memberships so promptly. We have been having a great turn out with 10 – 15 bikes and trikes on our Tuesday night rides.
