PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

As I sit here writing this month message it appears that winter has finally arrived. There is a little snow on the ground and just the other morning it was -9 out side when I went to work. Yes winter has arrived.

The Christmas Party was a huge success thanks to the hard work of Margaret Sandberg, Kay Paulson, Tippy Frank for the awards, Bob Frazee for the slide show, Anne Nelson for the 20+ Pins and Linda Letourneau for the Calendar.

Looking forward it is almost time for the International Motorcycle show.  I always consider this the first sign that spring is right around the corner. Come join us for breakfast before the show on February 4th at Keys Cafe. Downtown Minneapolis and then we walk to the show were we can check out what is new. Please let me know if you are planning to attend breakfast with us.

Don't forget to sign up for the Winter Mixer being sponsored by the Little Falls Chapter on February 25th. This year’s theme is Welcome to HollyWing. Come and dress up as your favorite character from the Large or Small Screen. Come support the Little Falls Chapter and get ideas for when we host next years event. FEBRUARY’S EVENT SCHEDULE:

Feb 3rd, 4th, &  5th . Friday thru Sunday.  International Motorcycle Show.  Breakfast at Keys Café, 114 S 9th Street, Minneapolis at 8:30 a.m.   Let Todd know if you plan to join the group.  After breakfast we will take the skyway to the Minneapolis Convention Center for the Motorcycle Show which starts at 10:00 a.m.  Buy your advanced tickets on the internet for a small discount and then you can get straight into the show..

Feb 7thst, 7:00 p.m. Tuesday Dinner  at  Girvan Grille at Edinburgh USA, 8700 Edinbrook Crossing, Brooklyn Park, 763-315-8535, hosted by Bob and Heidi Kelley.

Feb 14th ,  Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. Monthly meeting at Billy's Bar & Grill, 214 Jackson St., in Anoka, MN. This is Valentine’s Day, bring your sweetheart to dinner.

Feb 21st, 7:00 p.m. Tuesday Dinner at Clives Road House 11680 Theater Drive N, Champlin, Mn.,

Feb 25th, Saturday, 4:00 p.m. – end of the night.  Minnesota Wings Winter Mixer, hosted by the Little Falls Chapter at the VFW, 1210 3d Ave NE, Little Falls, MN.  The cost will be $20 each. Social starts at 4:30 p.m.; Dinner at 6:00 p.m.; and entertainment at 7:15 p.m. More information is available on the Chapter’s web page. To obtain the registration form go to www.mnwings.com .
