Dam Run: We are looking for someone to volunteer to lead this event.

Hat Run: A volunteer was asked for to do this now that Bruce Schaffer is busy ramping up at the new job. Eric Sorenson offered to take it. (A tentative date of July 24th?)

Great MN Wings Get Together: We need 2 delegates from our chapter to attend the Great MN Wings Get Together – in Little Falls - Aug 14, as representative for the quarterly state board meeting. If interested, contact Tim Smith.

Safety: Hydration is a major concern at this time of year as we move into the hotter months. Please drink frequently. You should want to stop for a potty break every hour, and your urine should not be a dark yellow, but rather pale if you are properly hydrated. Another trick to not becoming dehydrated is to drench your shirt, and then ride with your jacket on, as well as drenching your head and helmet pads before putting the helmet back on and continuing your ride.

Bette Anne reported that their 6th grandbaby had finally arrived. “Miles Towner Ervasti” was 8Lbs. 6 Oz. and pictures were sent around.

It was reported by Gary Bimson that the cable show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives was filming an episode at Gordy’s Hi Hat, The site of our Hat run. (again to be led this year by Eric S. on July 24th)

The end of Summer camp out was asked about and we will check with Bruce S. to see if he can still lead this or if we will need volunteers to take it over.
